I am a highly experienced Houston-based CPA, holding certifications as a Valuation Analyst and Healthcare Business Consultant. Specializing exclusively in the healthcare sector, work closely with physicians, medical groups, and other healthcare entities with managed care contracting issues, operational and financial management, strategic planning, and growth strategies. My expertise encompasses multiple areas including managed care contracting, operational efficiency, financial management, strategic planning, and growth strategies.

I have published numerous articles in national and regional publications and am frequently asked to speak on a variety of health care topics, including capitation, revenue enhancement, and integration strategies. My articles have been published in the Journal of Medical Practice Management, MGMA Journal, Hospital Physician, Texas Medicine Family Practice Journal, Group Practice Journal and the American Bar Association Health Law Journal. I also serve on the Editorial Board for the book Medical Group Practice: Legal and Administrative Guide published by Wolters Kluwer.

My seminars have received sponsorship from both the American Medical Association and the Southern Medical Association. Along with my consulting and speaking projects, I authored Medical Practice Management Handbook for CPAs, originally published by Harcourt Brace.  Additionally, I have co-authored three healthcare publications by John Wiley and Sons: Performing an Operational and Strategic Assessment of a Medical Practice, Valuation of a Medical Practice, and Healthcare Financial Operational Manual for IPAs. I have written two books published by the American Medical Association: Negotiation of Managed Care Contracts and Medical Practice Mergers.
